Indian Artifact - Once Was An Arrowhead

Here is an interesting prehistoric Indian artifact that we found yesterday. I spotted it in on a clay bank just above a creek. Another good rain and it would have been at the bottom of the bank covered in mud or in the creek, probably lost forever.

This was once an arrowhead, probably a knife really. It was broken in use and then fashioned into a side scraper/blade. The stem is tapered, so it could have been more easily hafted to a shaft with sinew.
