Some Recent Arrowheads

We had an arrowhead hunting trip on the weekend agenda, but never got around to it, mostly because of the heat - high 90s. Here are three arrowheads from three recent hikes that I never got around to posting.

We don't find a lot of quartz arrowheads here, and this is probably the biggest one that I have found.





I like this one because of the size and the way it was only partly showing in the bank.





This scraper was once an arrowhead. We walked a little beyond our normal hunting areas, and came across an area that had recently been logged. Thick underbrush had already begun to take over. This was the only finished tool that we found.
