I found this one in March about an hour before it began snowing. It doesn't snow often in this part of Alabama. We got about two inches, but it had melted by mid-morning the next day. This was broken but it is still a nice find. We don't find many this color.


Later in March, I found these two hammerstones side-by-side.

Here is a close-up of one:


It's rough, but I was happy to see it since we hadn't found a complete point in awhile. The arrowhead is in the black circle. The red arrow is pointing to a waste flake.

While walking back towards home and talking to our daughter in Colorado, Kathy spotted this.

It is a beautiful serrated point. At one time the sides were more in symmetry. The left side was damaged at some point and then smoothed out by the owner.
